I have been as an Out of School Hours Care Coordinator for 3 years now and have recently completed a Diploma of School Age Care and Education. At work, I am responsible for caring for up to 15 children at a time by myself. I create fun and engaging activities while also creating a safe and supportive environment. I am easy going and have a lot of fun with the children but ensure respectful boundaries are in place. I have extensive experience working with children with a lot of behavioural and medical needs, I have learnt many different techniques to help with self regulation, deterring behaviours and building strong relationships fast! I also have a first aid certificate and capable of administering medication to children with varying medical conditions.
