Hi there! My name is Samantha. I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has given me hands-on experience working with children aged 0–5. In addition, I currently work as an educator in before and after school care, where I support children aged 5–12. I'm also in my second year at Monash University, studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with the goal of becoming a child psychologist. I’m passionate about supporting children’s growth and well-being, and I bring a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic approach to every role I take on. I have worked as a casual babysitter for children aged 3months - 16 years with 3 years experience. Safety is a priority for me- I have a valid Working with children check, Police check, 4 x covid vaccinated and up to date first aid certificate (including CPR). In addition, I have my own car and a valid driver’s license (P2) I am happy to drive to any activities as needed as well as school drop offs and pick-ups. If needed I am able to assist with homework, having graduated VCE at Methodist Ladies College - I can provide help with all subjects and my particular areas of strength are in English, Maths, humanities and art. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, drawing and anything creative. I love finding fun activities to do that suit the children, whether it be arts and crafts, board games, imagination games, etc. I am happy to help with any housework as needed, such as cleaning, laundry, or meal prep. I am also able to care for any pets, I love all animals and am comfortable catering to any requirements.
