Hello, my name is Liz and I'm currently working as an Early Childcare Teacher in a childcare centre in Bondi. I am originally from Ireland where I did my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies and my Masters in Primary Teaching. From babysitting as my first job to working as a special education teacher before I left Ireland, I have over 15 years of experience working with and caring for children of different ages and abilities. I have worked with children from the ages of 6 months old to 16 years of age in a variety of settings from children's homes, classrooms, summer camps and tutoring. I believe it's extremely important to build a good rapport with the children in my care and create positive play environments where the children feel comfortable and free to express and use their imagination. I am happy to bring activities, games and books to entertain your little ones and ensure they feel comfortable and engaged. As I work full time, I am only available for babysitting during the evenings or weekends (except for Wednesdays when I'm available all day). I would love to connect with local families to provide support where needed. For families travelling, I have cared for many children in hotel and Airbnb settings. I am also really comfortable around pets and have lots of experience pet and house sitting. I have my WWCC and have NESA teacher accreditation along with a full international drivers licence.
